Ansul Systems
Introduction
Ansul (commonly known
as Ansul Systems) is a brand name for fire suppression equipment often
found in kitchens of restaurants. CO2, clean agents, or dry chemicals
(known as fire suppression chemicals), spray on the fire to suppress it
or contain it. Ansul Systems can range from a very small portable fire
extinguisher, all the way to a very complex and large system that
includes an alarm and heat detectors.
Uses of Ansul Systems
Ansul systems are
found in a variety of places including restaurants, stores, kitchens,
large buildings and many other different types of applications. The
most common place you would find an Ansul system would be in a
commercial kitchen – most likely in a large restaurant.
